Web Design in Songkhla and Hat Yai for SME Businesses
Last updated 16 September 2026
TumWebSME builds custom-coded websites for businesses in Songkhla, and especially in Hat Yai — the commercial centre of the lower South. That includes souvenir and processed-food retailers, wholesalers, rubber-linked manufacturers, clinics, and specialist businesses whose customers search for an exact product name rather than walking past a shopfront. Everything is coded from scratch, not assembled from a template or WordPress. Our team is in Bangkok and runs provincial projects entirely over video calls and LINE. Pricing is the same package table as everywhere else, shown below.
To be upfront: we have no office and no staff in Songkhla, and no published Songkhla project on this site. What we do have is closely related work — online stores selling well beyond their own area, specialist businesses that need narrow search terms to land on a real page, and venues whose customers are international and read the site before they ever make contact.
Not every customer in Hat Yai reads Thai
Hat Yai is a cross-border trading city. A meaningful share of its customers are Malaysian and Singaporean visitors who shop, eat, seek medical care and do business here. They open your website from another country, before deciding whether the trip is worth it. A Thai-only site loses them silently — there is nothing on the page telling them what you sell, roughly what it costs, or how to reach you.
Proper multilingual support is not an auto-translate button. Each language gets its own pages and URLs so it can be found on its own, and the owner edits each language from the admin panel. The number of languages included in each package is in the price table below; more can be quoted at the requirements stage. A comparable project is Barra Cuda Beach Club in Phuket, on Patong beach, where we built the site structure for SEO aimed at drawing visitors from around the world, so the site has to explain the offer, the zones and the packages in full — someone who has never been cannot simply walk in and ask.
- Separate pages and URLs per language, not a translate overlay
- Prices, units and conditions written for someone outside Thailand
- Contact options foreign visitors actually use — LINE, WhatsApp, email, form
- Full address with a map and directions from the border or airport
Souvenirs, processed food and wholesale sell far beyond the shopfront
Plenty of Hat Yai products already ship nationwide through LINE and Facebook orders. The limit is that every order needs a person to answer it, and a slow reply is a lost sale. A real online store turns ordering into a growth channel instead of a staffing problem.
NamtanZhongli is the sharpest example: an e-commerce platform stocking Thai products for Thai people living in Taiwan, from dried food through to everyday essentials, with a clear product-category system, accurate order handling, full mobile support, and SEO aimed squarely at what that overseas community searches for. That is commerce sold across a border to a specific community in another country — the same problem a Hat Yai shop has, pointed the other way.
Specialist businesses are found by very narrow searches, not by browsing
Hat Yai draws people from surrounding provinces and from across the border for healthcare, education and specialist goods. They do not drive in and then choose — they search and decide from home, sometimes from another country. What decides for them is a page that answers the exact term they typed: a service, a condition, a product model, a course. If the whole site is one "Our Services" page, none of those searches has anything to match.
We structure sites so each thing people search for has its own page, and so the owner can add new pages as the business grows. TCG Thailand is the specialist example — a trading-card auction marketplace whose customers already know exactly what they are hunting for and search in very precise terms, built to absorb a growing catalogue without a rebuild.
- One service or product group per page, each findable on its own
- Admin panel to add new pages without waiting on a developer
- Detail pages deep enough to decide on before travelling
- Structured data that serves both SEO and AI answer engines
Working with a Bangkok team from Hat Yai
The honest objection is distance: there is nobody of ours in Songkhla to call into a meeting. We compensate by making every stage produce something real to check — a written scope covering pages, systems and exclusions before work starts, designs you approve before coding, a staging link to open on your own phone, and admin training over video call, recorded so your team can rewatch it.
The side effect is that everything is in writing, which is usually clearer than a verbal agreement in a meeting room. If you are weighing a local team against a Bangkok one, the comparison article below covers both sides, including when a local team genuinely is the better choice.

Frequently asked questions
Can a Songkhla or Hat Yai business work with a Bangkok team?
Yes. Requirements, design reviews, testing on your own phone and admin training all run over video calls and LINE. We have no office in Songkhla and do not claim one.
Can you build the site in English, Chinese or Malay for Malaysian and Singaporean customers?
Yes — each language gets its own pages and URLs. The number of languages included per package is in the price table on this page; extra languages are quoted at the requirements stage. We agree up front whether you supply the translations or we arrange them.
Is pricing different outside Bangkok?
No. The same packages apply everywhere; see the price table on this page. The final quote depends on the agreed scope and is free after a requirements call.
I want to ship products nationwide — which package do I need?
If customers should order and pay on the site, that is the E-commerce package: cart, product management and payment integration. If you prefer to keep taking orders on LINE for now, start with a catalogue site and extend it later.
How long does it take, and can I edit the content myself afterwards?
A typical business site takes 4–8 weeks; an online store or a custom system takes longer depending on scope. After launch you edit text, images, prices and add new pages yourself from the admin panel, using the training recording made during handover.
