Clinic Website Design with Online Appointment Booking
Last updated 16 September 2026
TumWebSME builds custom-coded websites for medical, dental, aesthetic, dermatology and physiotherapy clinics. No templates, no WordPress. A clinic site is not a shop: the visitor is assessing risk, not comparing products, so the job is to give them what they need to decide and make booking the obvious next step.
Our published clinic work is the clinic management and patient appointment system we built and delivered, so we know the counter side of the job, not just the front page. We are not your legal or medical-advertising advisor — approving claims stays with the clinic — but we design the site to work within those limits from the start. Pricing uses the same package table shown below.
Patients choose on trust, not on discount
Someone comparing three clinics on a phone wants to know who will treat them, what that person trained in, what the place actually looks like, and who to contact if something goes wrong. Stock photography undoes all of it — patients can tell the person in the picture is not the person they will meet.
- Doctor and team pages with real names, qualifications and specialisms
- Service pages per procedure: what happens, how long, how to prepare
- Real photos of the clinic, treatment rooms and equipment
- Address, map, opening hours and parking readable on one screen
- An FAQ that answers what your front desk repeats every day
The appointment is the conversion
Most clinic sites bury the booking step at the bottom of one page. We keep the next step visible throughout and send it to the channel your staff actually watch — LINE, phone, or a real booking system. The hard part of appointment software is never the patient screen; it is letting staff reschedule, cancel and double-book faster than they could with a paper diary.
We built a clinic management system with online advance booking and queue handling. Everyday Cat Hotel, in a different industry with the same problem, is found by people searching for a cat hotel near them and has to convert on a phone, so the room and service detail sits in front of the booking step rather than behind it.
Patient data and advertising limits are design decisions
The moment a form asks for a name, a phone number and a symptom, PDPA applies. What the form asks, where the data is stored, who can open it, how long it is kept and what the consent text says all have to be settled before code is written. We argue for collecting the least the front desk genuinely needs — data you never collected cannot leak. Our closest comparable build is a loan and payment management system holding customer records and contract documents.
That is also why we write the code instead of assembling plugins. Dozens of third-party plugins mean unreviewed code running next to your patient form, each one needing updates and each one an entry point. Custom code carries only what was agreed, loads faster on mobile, and leaves you tied to no plugin that may be abandoned.
Medical advertising in Thailand is regulated: guaranteed-outcome claims and before-and-after imagery need particular care. In practice the site has to sell on verifiable facts, so we build service pages around procedure, clinician experience and aftercare.
What building a clinic site actually involves
Clinic sites usually fail at handover, not during development, because the people who run them are the front desk and the assistants, not the owner who signed off. If the clinic cannot change doctors, hours, services and promotions itself, the site is stale in a month. Training is part of the job here, not a bonus at the end.
- A written scope: services, page count and the booking channel you really use
- Data decisions agreed before coding: fields, storage, access and consent text
- Designs approved before development, including the whole booking flow
- A staging link you test on your own phone, booking as a patient would
- Admin training over video call, recorded so new staff can watch it later
- Launch, then post-handover support per the package you choose

Frequently asked questions
Does a clinic website need an online booking system?
Not always. If LINE or the phone already works and staff reply in time, a clear contact button with the details pre-filled is enough. A full booking system pays off once queues clash, several doctors or branches are involved, or rescheduling eats staff time daily.
What does PDPA mean for a contact form on a clinic site?
You need to know what is collected, where it is stored, who can read it, how long it is kept, and have consent text a patient can understand. We build the form and storage to what is agreed and push for collecting only what the front desk needs. The privacy policy and data responsibility stay with the clinic.
Why not build the clinic site on WordPress?
A site assembled from many plugins is unreviewed third-party code running beside your patient form; each plugin needs updating and each adds exposure. Custom code contains only what was agreed, loads faster on mobile, and is not tied to a plugin that may be abandoned.
Can we publish before-and-after photos or patient reviews?
Medical advertising in Thailand is regulated, and outcome guarantees and before-and-after imagery are the sensitive parts. We do not approve clinical claims on your behalf. We design service pages that sell on procedure, clinician experience and aftercare, and make that copy editable whenever your responsible person asks.
Our clinic is outside Bangkok and our staff are not technical — can this work?
Yes. Our team is in Bangkok, but scope, design review, testing on your own phone and admin training all run over video call and LINE, and the training is recorded so new staff can watch it back. A typical site takes about 4–8 weeks.
